Putney Housing Solutions Task Force is a community group that emerged from the Vermont Council of Rural Development's Community Gathering. We meet on the last Monday of the month and our objectives are included below. All are welcome to both our formal meetings and these meet ups, just reach out with questions.
Following our agenda'd meetings, we are hosting informal Housing Meet-Ups & Mixers at the Putney Diner.
This is a way for our group to continue conversations that want attention, form partnerships around ideas and build relationships that can support co-creation whether or not they are on the Task Force "agenda" so to speak. For those involved in task force and ADU 101 conversations, please feel free to bring anything that you've learned, want support with, or are interested in talking with others about.
For those of you that may be coming for the first time, please feel to ask questions, share ideas and see if this can be a supportive way to come into a heart-felt commitment to build housing and community, together.
We'll have a small room in the Diner with several tables where people can eat, mingle and/or group up for conversations that serve shared interests/ideas as needed.
Simultaneously, we will provide a learning opportunity to the greater community.
ON MONDAY 7/28: SOUTHERN VERMONT SOLAR
As a way to help Vermonters offset rising electricity costs, this month we'll feature Victoria Roberts from Southern Vermont Solar. Southern Vermont Solar is a local business committed to working within our community without getting too big for their own britches. Victoria will help folks understand current Solar Rebates and learn whether or not you can take advantage of the state and federal funds available before they dry up at this year's end.
