On Sunday, June 1st, a singular and exciting concert will be held on the Tavern Lawn in Putney, Vermont, supported by Twilight Music and Next Stage Arts!
Music begins at 6pm, and the concert is free and open to all - bring a lawn chair or a picnic blanket to soak it up!
At the crossroads of South American folk music and Northern Americana a rising star band is taking the acoustic music scene by storm. Acoustic Nomads blends together music from across two continents to create soaring original melodies, playful improvisations, and driving grooves that take the listener on a musical journey from the Appalachians to the Andes!
The band's unique sound results from the players harnessing these varied musical interests and joyously exploring uncharted musical territory together. Since forming in 2019, Acoustic Nomads has headlined performances at WBUR Cityspace in Boston, Club Passim in Cambridge, Hartford’s Baby Grand Jazz Series, Arts at the Armory in Somerville, Barnarts’ Feast & Field Series in Barnard VT, and performed at major bluegrass festivals including Freshgrass, Ossipee Valley Music Festival, Grey Fox, and Joe Val.
Acoustic Nomads' virtuosic shows maintain the spirit of folkloric music while delving into modern jazz improvisation and sophisticated chamber music arrangements, showing how different cultures can unite and celebrate humanity through art.
