It’s been a while since my last update, but I haven’t been standing still… and now the time has come: the first try-outs of my new show Crazy Wonderland! 💜✨
🎶 A surprising musical cabaret
In Crazy Wonderland I will take you down the rabbithole: from wonder to transformation. Imagine a mix of Absolutely Fabulous, Alice in Wonderland, and my own story – told through extraordinary characters, with music and songs that truly move you.
✨ The Story
The story follows Carrie, CEO of Soulshine Cosmetics, who – together with her assistant Mimi – struggles with menopause, sleepless nights, burnout, and a broken relationship with her daughter Elsje, a passionate Gen Z climate activist. During a meditation retreat, Carrie completely loses her way… and everything spirals out of control.
An absurd, funny, and moving performance about imagination, creativity, our connection with Mother Nature, and spirituality.
🎹 With virtuosic accompaniment by multi-instrumentalist Jina Sumedi.
