Olivia/Wendys of Punxsy

Hi everyone! You all know that Wendy’s and I ( Olivia/Wendys of Punxsy)team up every year to raise money to benefit Make-A-Wish of Greater PA and WV. Well, we will be doing just that this Tuesday, August 5th from 5-8PM during Punxsutawneys National Night Out in Barcley Square. Along with taking donations, we will be also selling Wish Stars for a $1.00 each. All proceeds from the donations and the stars will go towards Make-A-Wish of Greater PA and WV, that we will give to wish at the end of the year during the 2025 wish campaign. All wish stars will be hung up at Wendy’s for a little time after the event. This is year 5 for us in doing this.

If anybody doesn’t know what Make-A-Wish of Greater PA and WV is and what they do. Here is what I know. Make-A-Wish of Greater PA and WV is an organization that grants wishes for kids 2 1/2-18 years of age get their ultimate wish. They suffer from life threatening or critical illnesses like cancers and many other things.

We have a goal to sell 180 stars. Please come out and Support Wendy’s and I (Olivia/Wendys of Punxsy) this Tuesday with your donations and stars. We thank you all for what you do for us at Wendy’s and for Make-A-Wish. We will have a table set up somewhere in the park/Barcley Square. Please donate and help Wendy’s and I ( Olivia/Wendys of Punxsy) achieve on raising wishes for these kids who are waiting for the ultimate wish of a lifetime. We know that our community is giving and caring about these kids. Olivia/Wendys of Punxsy hopes to see everyone on Tuesday. Thank you so much!

P.S: If anybody knows of any child between the ages of 2 and 1/2-18 years of age with a life threatening or critical illness and that is still in need of a wish to please contact Lacy Bair at the Punxsutawney Make-A-Wish office.
