Lavani is a genre of music popular in Maharashtra. It is a combination of traditional songs and dance which particularly performed to the beats of Dholki, a percussion instrument. It is popular for its powerful and energetic rhythm.
This art has contributed substantially to the development of Marathi Folk theatre. In Maharashtra and in Southern Madhya Pradesh it is performed by the female performers wearing nine-yard long sarees popularly known as Navavari Saree.
Aho Nadach Khula is a unique entertaining show with a blend of Lavani and western dance where popular Marathi as well as Hindi hit songs will be performed by well known dancers with live singing and orchestra.
This show has been performed in all the parts of Maharashtra throughout the year in various fairs and festivals. It is an eccentric show which can be enjoyed by people from all age groups.
This show has given more than 3000 performances in Maharashtra & Dubai, China, Delhi, etc.
