Farrell's Bait and Trap day

Farrells Hub Day – 12 August 2025 from 9 am to 1 pm.

Join us for free bait and traps, advice on effective trapping techniques, managing pest plants, and the chance to connect with other locals committed to achieving a predator-free Franklin. Whether you’re new to backyard trapping or an experienced professional, every trap you set makes a difference!

If you have a well-labelled secure container for bait, you are welcome to bring it along to save on our bag costs. If you still have rat hot spots, come and check out a new backyard cunning solution.

Remember, donations are always welcome.

Also reminder that the Pestival is on this weekend, Saturday, 10.00 – 3.00pm. Pukekohe, Stevenson Room, above the library. A great lineup of interesting speakers covering kaka, pekapeka, possums and more. A great chance to catch up with others around the Region.
