Let your imagination take flight in this beautiful field of wildflowers!
Learn the simple and fun technique of 2-D needle felting to design your own field of flowers. Finish your design by adding beads and framing with a wooden hoop for amazing results.
Sunday, June 1 at 1:00 pm. The class is around 3 hours and some finish work at home may be needed.
All the materials, to include a wide selection of wool and bead colors as well as the wooden hoop frame, are included. The class is $40.
The time it takes to finish this project depends on the amount of time and detail you put into it. It can be finished in about three hours with minimal beading… or you can take longer to sew your beads. If you want to take more time to make the perfect flowers, we will give you the supplies you need to finish at home.
Needle Felting is a fun, easy and inexpensive fiber art that is a blast to learn: especially with friends! We will be hand sewing beads in this project. No sewing experience is needed, but it will be helpful to you if you have sewn on a button or two in your life! If you have mad skillz… embroidery stitches are stunning on this project, but we will not be teaching embroidery stitches in this class. We will have embroidery floss available, if you know some stitches.
The class is geared toward adults. Needle felting involves the use of a sharp needle. Typically, kids 12 and up who have great focus and attention span are welcome if they are accompanied with an adult also taking the class. BUT… I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PARTICULAR CLASS FOR KIDS UNDER 16.
The session is limited to only 10 people.
We meet at the maker's table in Curated Pueblo at 102 S Victoria Ave Suite 130 on the Pueblo Riverwalk.
Pre-registration and payment is required and the class is non-refundable. The projects and experience are unique, therefore there are no take-home supplies or instructions available if you are not able to attend the class.
