Free weekly breastfeeding support group aimed at mums with babies up to 6 weeks old and mums-to-be that intend to breastfeed.
Why 6 weeks? Breastfeeding data shows that women are more likely to stop breastfeeding in the first 6 weeks after their baby is born if they don’t have access to the right support and advice.
Breastfeeding is, without any doubt, the best way to feed your baby for the first 6 months, the health and wellbeing benefits are profound and provide lifelong benefits to your baby.
Our free weekly breastfeeding support group is a welcoming space for breastfeeding mums with babies under 6 weeks and mums-to-be who plan to breastfeed. It’s a great place to get general advice about breastfeeding, ask questions, and connect with other mums on the same journey.
Since this is a group setting, I’m not able to offer one-on-one consultations, and the advice given will be more general rather than tailored to your individual situation.
If you need more in-depth, personalised support—especially for more complex breastfeeding challenges—I’m available to help through a private lactation consultation, where we can focus on your specific needs. 💕
The group is facilitated by Jo, founder of the mumabuba pregnancy & baby wellness centre. Jo has been supporting women and babies through their fertility, pregnancy, birth and postnatal experiences for more than 20 years. Jo is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Pre & Perinatal Somatic Psychology Educator/Therapist, Childbirth Educator and practices a range of complementary therapy modalities all exclusively focused on fertility, pregnancy, birth and baby.
[Please note that in order to focus on providing breastfeeding advice and support to those that need it, regrettably toddlers and older children cannot attend the breastfeeding support group]
