RSR Rangers & Volunteer Spring Series: Sensory Enrichment

Join us at Ruff Start Rescue for a Rangers & Volunteer Event on July 17th, 2025! Sensory enrichment is an essential part of keeping pets mentally, physically, and emotionally stimulated. As we humans experience the world through a combination of sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell, pets also use their senses to navigate the environment and interact with their surroundings. However, animals often rely on different senses than we do! The event will start at 5:30 pm and is estimated to last ~90 minutes; we will do a brief presentation about the topic then do a fun themed activity together! When signing up, please include parents and kids in the total admission number so we have an idea of how many will be in attendance. 

Important Information:

• A parent/guardian MUST attend the event with the child
• Suggested ages: 5-12
• Ruff Start Rescue is not liable for any injuries resulting from this event
• This event will take place indoors at Ruff Start Rescue 
• There is no fee to attend, but donations are always welcome to help cover the cost of materials

Parking: We have a dirt lot to park in. If there is not room in the parking lot please park on the street in front of the rescue.
