📚 White Elephant Book Swap 📚
Join us for a twist on your typical book exchange — it's part literary lovefest, part strategic (and hilarious) swapping game!
How it works:
Bring a Book – Wrap up a gently used or new book you love (or think someone else will love). Keep the title a surprise — no labeling! Please put a 2-3 sentence synopsis of the book on the wrapping, as well as the genre that it falls under. If it is part of a series, make sure it is the first book or that it can be read as a stand alone.
Draw Numbers – Everyone draws a number to determine the order of picking.
Pick or Steal –
Player #1 chooses a wrapped book and opens it.
Player #2 can either steal that book or open a new one.
If your book is stolen, you can steal from someone else or unwrap a new one!
Each book can only be stolen twice before it’s "frozen" and can’t be taken again.
Keep Swapping – The game continues until everyone has a book!
