🏛️ About the Depot
Constructed in 1875 and beautifully restored, the Princeton Train Depot is the only remaining depot structure in Gibson County. Once home to the C&EI and L&N railways, it served as the county’s lifeline for commerce and transportation. Passenger service continued until the late 1960s, and today the depot stands as a nostalgic reminder of the vital role railroads played in shaping Gibson County’s history.
Now serving as the Gibson County Visitors Center, the depot features a charming railway museum, historic displays, and a fully restored train caboose—a favorite stop for history lovers and families alike.
