This group, under the umbrella of the BRCSJ Reproductive Justice Coalition, is focused on advocating for the rights of birthing people to have a safe, equitable, and meaningful reproductive journey. Our goal is to connect professionals from all areas of the field including doulas, community health workers, educators, lactation consultants, midwives, OBGYNs, and public health advocates. Our monthly meetings are a Safe-Space for birth workers to share thoughts and experiences, network, and be in community as we work towards providing safer, more empowered reproductive care. Through camaraderie and co-conspiracy, we hope to create a lasting impact on the maternal health crisis and combat the inequities that we face in this country. If you work in the Birth Justice field as a doula, community health worker, educator, lactation consultant, midwife, OBGYN, public health advocate, or anyone with personal lived experience, please join us. In this space, we will share thoughts and experiences, network, and be in community as we advocate for safer, more empowered reproductive care.
