The Way Home: Poetry and Conversation with Yamini Pathak

This event honors Yamini Pathak, a poet and long-time resident of West Windsor, who is a 2025 recipient of a prestigious Individual Artist Fellowship from the NJ State Council on the Arts.

Yamini Pathak is an Indian born poet whose poems engage with themes of migration, loss, motherhood, and open the doors to food, landscapes, and histories of the places she calls home. She is also a translator of Hindi poetry.

Join us for an afternoon of poetry as Yamini reads from her forthcoming book Her Mouth A Palace of Lamps (Milk & Cake Press) and discusses them with editor and poet, Cathy Kreyche. Audience Q&A will also be welcome.

A short reception will follow the program. Refreshments will be provided by Star Bazaar in Lawrenceville.
