An evening of Cheese, Cider and…Trains. It’s a Perfect Pairing, if you ask us 😊
Spend your evening with a thoughtfully curated cheese and cider pairing*. Learn the secrets of pairing cheese, cider, fruit and nibbles.
Tracey will guide you through a tasting lesson on complementary tastes, textures, and visual appeal to put together an exquisite charcuterie board for a quiet night in or a house full of company. She will describe the sensory characteristics of cheese, including appearance, aroma, texture, and taste. These notes help in appreciating and understanding the nuances of different cheeses and enabling you to make the best pairings possible.
Kyle will walk you through the notes present in the cider and how they can be influenced by apple varieties, aging and fermentation process - and how they can add complexity and depth to the final product.
After the lesson there will be cider and light snacks for purchase and the museum park will be open to explore.
