The Why:
On November 13, 2022, Maddie Mogen, a young woman with roots in Priest River, was tragically taken from us in the heartbreaking Idaho 4 murders that occurred in Moscow, Idaho. Maddie was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend—a bright light cut short far too soon. Her mother, Karen, who attended school in Priest River from kindergarten through 12th grade, is now faced with the difficult task of attending Maddie’s trial in Boise, which is expected to last about three months.
Karen will need to take significant time off work, travel hours away from home, and stay in Boise to be there for her daughter, seeking justice and closure. We are hosting this spaghetti feed and silent auction to help raise the funds necessary to cover her travel, lodging, and living expenses during this critical time.
Your support can make a real difference. Every dollar raised will help Karen be present at the trial, to support her through this emotional journey, and honor Maddie’s memory.
