The Wizard of Oz – The Musical

Follow the yellow brick road with Full House Theatre Productions in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. This timeless tale, in which a Kansas farm girl, Dorothy Gale travels over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, to discover the power of home, has entertained audiences for generations. The music includes well-known songs like “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, “We’re off to see the Wizard”, “Merry old land of Oz” and many more. Under the direction of seasoned director Niel van Niekerk and musical arrangements and sound design by Eraneé de Beer this production brings together a spectacular local cast led by TInus Spies as Lion, Marina Botha-Spies as Glinda, Rainy van Zyl as scarecrow, Kopano Serumula as Tinman, Deirdré van Schalkwyk as the Wicked Witch of the West and introducing Monja du Plooy as Dorothy, all familiar faces from previous Full House Theatre Productions shows.
