Sashiko Embroidery Class presented by Suzette van Deventer

Sashiko ("literally "little stabs") is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching or functional embroidery from Japan, historically used to mend, reinforce, and embellish garments. All materials will be provided to make a Sashiko embellished gift box to take home.

Learn basic Sashiko stitches, techniques and practical tips.

Beginner friendly. Lunch is served under the big tree on the deck and we cater for vegans and vegetarians.
Beginners are welcome.
You can take your creations home at the end of the workshop
