Join the Rawstorne Singers, a mixed-voice SATB chamber choir directed by Marc Murray, for an afternoon of festive music at Chew’s Yard.

Founded in 1973 by Michael Sands, the choir began when parents at Bishop Rawstorne School sang alongside their children during summer cathedral visits. Today, with around 35 members, the Rawstorne Singers perform concerts, carol services, cathedral and church services, and run popular “Come and Sing” sessions open to all.

A treasured highlight of each year is the choir’s week singing in a cathedral in England or Wales—combining music-making with sightseeing and shared experiences.
