MelbushO - Yarra Flats Park and Banksia Park

The next MelBushO event is on 24 August at Yarra Flats Park and Banksia Park - two parks linked by a walkway under Banksia Street. Parking and registration will be in Yarra Flats Park entered from the Boulevard.

The Course are as follows:
Long hard - 5.7km
Medium hard - 4.2km
Short hard – 2.6km
Moderate – 2.7km
Easy – 1.8km

The map scale is 1:7500 with contours of 2.5 metres.

Only Courses 1 and 2 will venture into Banksia Park on the north side of the extremely busy Banksia St (6-8 lanes). You must not cross this road or risk disqualification and your life!

There are two underpasses you can use to cross into Banksia Park, and return. The maps will not be printed on waterproof paper. Please bring your own plastic bag especially if rain is likely.

There are no toilets at the assembly area. There are public toilets in Banksia Park (north of Banksia St) and the nearby Heidelberg Shopping Centre.
