“Water and Nature” Fresh Music, Fresh Air at the Highlands Center

Join Maria and Henry Flurry of "Sticks and Tones" for a chill evening of music and poetry inspired by the rhythms of nature! Performed under the pines in the Highland Center for Natural History's fresh-air amphitheater, Maria and Henry weave percussion, piano, guitar, voice, water, and spoken word into an evening that is meant to be shared.

Gems from classical, folk, jazz, and world music join original poems to create a tapestry of sparkling, nature-inspired moments. Reflective and deeply connected to the natural world, this is an evening where music mingles the joy of community and fresh air with the sounds of the forest.
