It is said that our fiery Irish lass, Mistress Camere, will be holding Vigil Friday evening August 29th at Champions in the Pines at Twilight (6 p.m.) to contemplate joining the Order of the Mark, a historic first for the Northlands of Atenveldt.
However... this great news seems to have reached the rather large pointy ears of a mischievous Leprechaun, Seamus Malarkey, that lives in nearby woods. Rumor has it that he and his band of troublemakers plan to disrupt the evenings festivities, creating chaos and mayhem!
The good & friendly Fae of the forest overheard this band of hooligans making their roguish plans and warned Mistress Camere of their plot. "Fear not lass," they told her, "we shall summon all good fae folk far and near with bow and arrow to come to your aid". "We shall protect you, and drive all these ill behaved tricksters away".
Calling all Good Fae folk, friends, and archers who would stand and protect Mistress Camere, we invite you to the archery range to help us drive away these scoundrels! According to Irish legend, twilight is a time when magical creatures appear. So at promptly 6 pm, the beginning of twilight, we shall be holding an whimsical archery shoot in honor of Our Irish lass! There will be amusing targets to shoot, fun prizes, and if your Lucky, perhaps you will find a bit of the Leprechaun's gold. Everyone is invited to to join in the evenings fun by dressing as one of the good fae folk protectors, (fairies, pixies, brownies, gnomes, and more). Mistress Camere has also made a special request that her fae protectors escort her into court to answer the Crown on Saturday as well!
With the likely success on the range, all of our brave hero's will be invited to step into the enchanting fairy wonderland to celebrate. Guests will be delighted by the exquisite array of delicious Irish fare and drink prepared by our local wee folk of BGM. Our Irish lass intention is to greet and socialize with her guests however a personal conversation can be had within the protection of the fairy circle to talk privately. But beware as not to enter the circle uninvited to risk bad luck or to linger too long as time is different there. Music and laughter will fill the air as all shall gather to wish Mistress Camere well. It will surely be a magical evening not to be missed, please join us.
