Cauldron Magick Class
Sunday, August 17th
11:00 to 1:00
Cauldron magick is a form of witchcraft that centers around the cauldron as a sacred, symbolic, and functional magical tool. It draws on deep-rooted traditions in Celtic, Wiccan, and folk magick, and is often used for transformation, manifestation, divination, and spellwork.
🌒 What the Cauldron Symbolizes:
The Goddess / Womb of Creation – a symbol of the Divine Feminine, fertility, and rebirth.
Element of Water (and Fire) – though it holds water, the cauldron is also placed over fire, embodying both elemental forces.
Transformation – ingredients go in, something new comes out—just like spells or intentions.
Death & Rebirth – echoing myths like Cerridwen's cauldron of inspiration in Celtic lore.
🔮 How Cauldron Magick Is Used:
1. Spellwork & Mixing
You can use your cauldron to:
Brew potions, teas, or magickal blends.
Burn herbs, incense, or sigils.
Combine ingredients for charm bags, poppets, or spell jars.
Create moon water or intention-infused oils.
2. Burning Rituals
Burn petitions (written wishes or spells) in a fireproof cauldron.
Use it as a fire bowl during sabbats or full moon ceremonies.
Let transformation take place through smoke and flame.
3. Divination
Scry with water, ink, or oil in the cauldron’s bowl.
Add herbs or crystals to deepen intuitive insight.
Use during dream magick or prophetic spellwork.
4. Seasonal & Sabbat Rituals
At Samhain, use it for ancestor work and messages from the spirit world.
At Beltane, light a small flame in the cauldron for fertility and passion spells.
For Lughnasadh, blend grains, herbs, and offerings to the gods of harvest.
🧙♀️ Tips for Practicing Cauldron Magick:
Choose a cauldron made of cast iron or ceramic for heat-resistance.
Cleanse and consecrate it before first use.
Charge it under the full moon or with your intent.
Keep safety in mind—especially when burning items indoors.
🪄 Simple Cauldron Spell Example:
Releasing Spell
Write what you want to let go of on a small piece of paper.
Place it in your cauldron with dried rosemary or bay leaf.
Burn it safely, visualizing the energy releasing.
Scatter the ashes to the wind or bury them
A cast iron cauldron is included in the cost of the class.
