About the book
Three Virtuous Women is a collection of essays and short stories inspired by people and events in author Whit Knight's life.
"Part One" blends memories and fiction to relate the trials and triumphs of three Asian women. Drawing from his own experience while serving in the United States Air Force, Knight taps into his affinity for the history and culture of the Far East to fill in the gaps in their stories. Highlighting the complexity, pain, and beauty of life, Knight explores both the light and darkness that touches their lives while infusing his own humor and grace.
"Part Two" is a range of parodies and spoofs centered around ancient technology Ă la The Trojan Horse, and "Part Three" features personal history related to Knight's family and his love of music.
The book is a love letter to people, both real and imagined, memories, and music, reflecting Knight's lifelong love for Eastern culture.
About the author
Whit Knight is a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Upstate New York, South Korea, and West Germany. While in South Korea, his lifetime love affair with the history and culture of the Far East was born. He also enjoys science, history, and the visual and performing arts and was taught the value of a good story by his parents.
