spIN Focus Saturday - Harry Chapin - Short Stories

This spIN Focus event features a full play of Harry Chapin's classic album, Short Stories. This record is a testament to Chapin's unique talent as a narrative songwriter, with each track offering a poignant and unforgettable glimpse into the human experience.

Released in 1973, the album includes fan favorites like "W.O.L.D." and "Mr. Tanner," but every song is a masterfully crafted story. With its intricate arrangements and heartfelt delivery, the album showcases Chapin's incredible ability to connect with listeners on a deep, emotional level. There will be a brief introduction and then a full play through of the album. We open on Saturdays at 1:00 pm for Open Spin (BYO music) and record cleaning. The feature LP spins at 4:00pm.
