Join us for a one day childbirth preparation class, presented by the Crossing Rivers Health Obstetrical staff.
Our childbirth preparation classes can be a great way to educate yourself and your support person about preparing for your new arrival and learn what to expect along the way.
The class will boost your confidence about labor, birth, and postpartum and enhance your loved one’s involvement in the experience.
The childbirth preparation class is also an excellent opportunity to meet and establish a relationship with members of your care team and learn about our available services if you are delivering at Crossing Rivers Health.
Class information includes:
-Preparing for labor
-Labor and delivery process
-Pain management
-Postpartum care
-Newborn cares/procedures
-Feeding choices/breastfeeding education
-Partner/staff support
- -Car seat safety education provided by certified Passenger Safety Technicians
-Meet members of the obstetrical team
-Birthing Center tour
We recommend registering early in your pregnancy, in order to allow you to complete this course prior to your due date.
Remember to wear comfortable clothes. The cost for the class is $25 for individuals who plan on delivering at Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center and $35 for those delivering elsewhere. Payment is required at time of registration.
