Join us for a philosophical salon led by the Norwegian philosopher Guro Hansen-Helskog, an internationally recognised expert on dialogue and the cultivation of wisdom.
🌎 Our shared planet faces a dual crisis: escalating climate change and ecological collapse threaten the very foundation of life, while social inequality, polarization, conflict, wars and technological misuse divide humanity and erode trust.
🚊At the same time, we have never had greater capacity for cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and sustainable innovation, if we choose to use it wisely. Hence, what each one of us as well as the world at large needs more than anything is wisdom to make life not only sustainable, but to allow it to flourish.
👫🏼 For that we need open, inclusive and heart-to-heart dialogue, or “soft” power, as opposed to the uncompromising and threatening “hard” power advocated by many world leaders today. What, then, is wisdom, and why do we need to search it in togetherness?
