Arrive at the Folklore Garden, tucked away in Prague’s quiet Hlubočepy district, about 25 minutes from the city center. If you’ve opted for transfers, a driver will pick you up from your hotel between 6:30pm and 7pm and bring you right to the venue.
You’ll be welcomed with a warm smile and a traditional Czech mead toast before the show begins at 7:30pm.
Inside, wooden tables are set under rustic beams, musicians tune their violins, and dancers dressed in colorful regional costumes prepare to take the stage. Over the next two and a half hours, you’ll witness Czech and Moravian folklore come to life through lively songs, foot-tapping rhythms, and joyful dance numbers.
As the music plays, your 4-course Czech feast begins, crafted from traditional recipes passed down for generations. You can now choose from a variety of special and standard menus, including trout, salmon, duck, pork, chicken, or vegetarian options, along with halal and semi-kosher menus designed for diverse preferences. Each dish comes with classic sides like mashed and baked potatoes, and local touches such as sauerkraut or homemade cabbage salad.
Live entertainment: The performers don’t just stay on stage—they’ll often invite guests to join the fun. Sing along to Bohemian and Moravian songs or try a few traditional dance steps under the warm glow of the lantern-lit hall.
