🎞️ Spisovatelská ikona, král hrůzy a děsu Stephen King je pro filmaře pravým požehnáním. S uvedením filmové novinky Dlouhý pochod režiséra Francise Lawrence podle Kingova stejnojmenného románu si na něj posvítíme rovnou dvojnásobně - promítneme i kultovní adaptaci jeho novely Tělo, kterou natočil Rob Reiner pod názvem Stůj při mně v roce 1986.
Oba dva spojuje motiv dobrodružné cesty krajinou, dospívání, chlapecké kamarádství a samozřejmě hlavně smrtelné nebezpečí, odkrývané postupně v bravurně vrstveném dávkování mysteriózního strachu a rozvíjejícího se vnitřního světa mladistvých hrdinů, kteří jsou nuceni čelit zlu, jež vytvářejí dospělí - ať už pro svou krutou zábavu, anebo ze své špatné charakterové podstaty...

🎞️ Stephen King, the iconic writer and king of horror, is a real blessing for filmmakers. With the release of Francis Lawrence's new film The Long Walk, based on King's novel of the same name, we will be shining the spotlight on him twice over – we will also be screening the cult adaptation of his novella The Body, filmed by Rob Reiner under the title Stand by Me in 1986.
Both films share the theme of an adventurous journey through the countryside, boyhood friendship, and, of course, mortal danger, gradually revealed in a brilliantly layered dose of mysterious fear and the developing inner world of young heroes who are forced to face the evil created by adults - whether for their cruel entertainment or because of their bad character...
