Ve výstavě Roman Ondak: The Day After Yesterday se návštěvníci a návštěvnice se seznámí s tvorbou mezinárodně uznávaného současného umělce slovenského původu, který navazuje na tradici konceptuálního umění šedesátých a sedmdesátých let.
Roman Ondak se vyjadřuje v širokém mediálním spektru (instalace, intervence, video, performance, objekt, fotografie, kresba). K jeho výrazným tvůrčím rysům patří využití běžných předmětů, materiálů, ale také situací z oblasti každodennosti, které přenáší do výstavního prostředí. Vkládá do nich vlastní metaforické kódování, ale i jemný nádech subverzivity a poetického humoru.
Ve výstavě Alice Bucknell: Persistent Worlds se skrze imerzivní scénáře a herní prostředí návštěvnictvu otevírají alternativní světy, kde se fikce propojuje s realitou a imaginace s kritickým myšlením. Výstava představuje nejnovější tvorbu Alice Bucknell, kteří sídlí v Los Angeles a ve své umělecké a spisovatelské praxi se zabývají spekulativní fikcí, ekologií, kvantovou mechanikou a mimo-lidskými inteligencemi. Ve svých projektech kladou důraz na propojenost lidských, nelidských a technologických entit, a nabízí pohled na svět, v němž je existence definována právě těmito vztahy.

Guided tours of Kunsthalle Praha’s Current Exhibitions.
The guided tour of Roman Ondak’s exhibition offers an introduction to the work of the contemporary Slovak artist, who continues the tradition of 1960s and 1970s conceptual art. Ondak’s practice draws on everyday objects, situations and materials, which he transforms into poetic and often ironic reflections on daily life. The exhibition presents a cross-section of his twenty-year career and also includes interactive installations. During the tour we will focus on the perception of reality and time, and on how, through apparent ordinariness, we can uncover deeper layers of human experience.
The exhibition Alice Bucknell: Persistent Worlds presents the latest work of Los Angeles–based artist and writer Alice Bucknell, whose practice engages with speculative fiction, ecology, quantum mechanics and nonhuman intelligences. Their projects emphasize the interconnectedness of human, nonhuman and technological entities, offering a vision of a world defined by these relationships. Through immersive scenarios, they explore alternative, sustainable realities that are crucial for confronting the crises brought about by dominant modernist paradigms. The exhibition features four large-scale works from the past two years, inviting visitors to journey through multiple realities and take an active role in cooperative games.
