Hudba, která láme žebra i srdce – Jehnny Beth ze Savages představí v Praze nové album

Průlom její tvůrčí dráhy je spjatý s postpunkovými Savages, Jehnny Beth ale byla vždy víc než strhující frontwoman a textařka, která na koncertech prožívá každý verš. Po emocionální náloži pět let starého sólového debutu To Love Is To Live se Beth na konci srpna vrátí s albem You Heartbreaker, You. Na něm se znovu spojila s Johnnym Hostilem a není náhoda, že album začíná výkřikem.

Jehnny Beth first came to prominence as the compelling frontwoman of Savages, the Mercury Prize–nominated post-punk band known for its live performances and stark lyricism. Her acclaimed solo debut To Love Is To Live (2020) expanded that vision—bold, cinematic, and emotionally charged. Since then, she has multiplied collaborations (Idles, Gorillaz, Sextile, Bobby Gillespie...) while simultaneously continuing her career in acting with standout performances in Audiard’s Paris, 13th District, and Triet’s Palme d’Or and Oscar-winning Anatomy of a Fall.
