Atomic Fruit
Berlínská formace Atomic Fruit propojuje zasněný psychedelický rock s elektronickými beaty a imerzivními zvukovými krajinami. Mezinárodní sestava se členy ze Švédska, Francie a Itálie vznikla v roce 2021 po náhodném setkání na koncertě SUUNS a rychle se stala stálicí berlínského undergroundu díky energickým koncertům.
Jejich debutové album Play Dough (2023), natočené v legendárním Hansa Studios, představilo světu jejich eklektickou směs syntezátorů, kytar, trubky, samplů a elektroakustické perkusivní práce. Skladby se dostaly do výběrových playlistů na Spotify, Apple Music a Tidal a zazněly i na vlnách berlínských rádií.
Hudba Atomic Fruit osciluje mezi žánry, ale stále si uchovává vlastní tvář. Propracované melodie a zvukové detaily osloví fanoušky alt-J nebo Radiohead, přesto je jejich přístup k tvorbě natolik osobitý, že se vzpírá jednoduchému zařazení. – Loudness Blog
V roce 2024 vydali své druhé album Sketches of the Moon, které představuje organičtější a introspektivnější polohu kapely. Deska, mixovaná Rileym Macintyreem, čerpá inspiraci z desert blues, noisu a lynchovské filmové atmosféry. Kombinuje přelaďované vokály, doznívající barytonové kytary a experimenty se samply i elektroakustickými efekty – včetně kovového zvuku lopatky na tarte flambée. Výsledkem je intimní zvukový svět, který přetavuje mezinárodní identitu kapely do působivé panoramatické výpovědi.
Texty jsou upřímné a znepokojivé – třeba v písních Once nebo Tongue Tied, které evokují podprahové neklidy. Album, vydané v únoru 2025, osciluje mezi melancholií a transcendencí a přináší náladové výjevy od ležérního desert blues po nostalgii analogových pásků a syrovou estetiku moderní romantiky. Po křtu v berlínském Badehausu se album rychle uchytilo na streamovacích platformách, kde si během prvního měsíce připsalo přes 80 000 přehrání. Kapela vystoupila živě na RadioEins a vyrazila na turné po Německu a Francii.
Digital Carbs
Z původního sólového projektu basisty a zpěváka Johannese Resta se Digital Carbs postupně vyprofilovali jako tajný tip mnichovské alt-rockové scény. Jejich debutové album Are We Taking It Slowly (2022) překročilo hranici 100 000 přehrání na Spotify a brzy si jich všiml mnichovský indie label Schaufel & Besen Records, pod kterým kapela vydala EP Conform Deform (14. prosince 2023).
Kapela však nezahálela a rovnou se pustila do práce na další nahrávce – EP Floods, které vyšlo 13. září 2024. Zvukově se Digital Carbs na této desce představují dynamičtěji než kdy dřív – od temně krásných akustických balad až po zběsilé kytarové výbuchy. Přestože jsou jednotlivé skladby velmi rozmanité, spojuje je téma: pocit bezmoci tváří v tvář současnému stavu světa. Digital Carbs opět potvrzují svou schopnost přetavit hluboké emoce v podmanivou hudbu.

Atomic Fruit
Berlin-based Atomic Fruit combines dreamy, psychedelic rock with electronic beats and immersive soundscapes. With members from Sweden, France and Italy, the group formed in 2021 after a serendipitous meeting at a SUUNS concert and their energetic live shows quickly became a frequent spectacle in the Berlin underground scene. Their 2023 debut vinyl Play Dough introduced their eclectic mix of synthesizers, guitars, trumpet and samples to an international audience as songs from the album landed on editorial playlists in Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal and saw airplay on Berlin radio
stations.

In 2024, they returned to self-produce their sophomore album Sketches of the Moon, showcasing a more organic, introspective side of the band. Drawing inspiration from desert blues, noise and the soundtracks of David Lynch, the album blends pitch-shifted vocals, reverberant baritone guitars and further experiments with samples and electro acoustic effects.
Lyrically Sketches of the Moon is honest and haunting, as in songs like Once and Tongue Tied, which evoke a certain uneasiness. Released in February 2025, the album captures the complexity and simplicity of life, one song at a time, where each moment seems eternal as we experience it, while the past feels like a surreal, fading dream. From the laid-back desert blues of Sure to the nostalgic tape sounds of the title track and the crunchy modern-lovers aesthetic of Get Along, each track brings together different memories and genres.

Digital Carbs
From the solo beginnings of bassist and singer Johannes Rest, Digital Carbs has become the insider tip of the Munich alt-rock scene. Their debut album “Are We Taking It Slowly”, released in 2022, recently surpassed the milestone of 100,000 streams on Spotify. It didn't take long for the Munich indie label "Schaufel & Besen Records" to take notice and sign the band. Together, they released the EP “Conform Deform” on December 14, 2023.
The band wasted no time after this release, jumping straight into the production of their new EP “Floods”. Sonically, the group presents themselves more dynamic than ever on their new work: from darkly beautiful acoustic ballads to manic, driving guitar storms, the musicians don’t hold back. While the songs could not be more diverse, they are united by a common theme: the feeling of helplessness in the face of the current global situation. Digital Carbs once prove their versatility and their ability to transform deep emotions into captivating Music. Their new EP “Floods” was released on September 13, 2024 and accompanied by an international tour with concert dates in Germany and Austria.
