Galerie 35M2 zve na veřejné čtení Hněv Medúzy, které se koná v rámci probíhající výstavy Ozvěny Medúzy (do 25. 10.). Událost vychází z manifestu The Laugh of the Medusa od Hélène Cixous, který artikuluje naléhavou potřebu proměny prostřednictvím psaného slova a chápe psaní jako akt schopný narušovat ustálené struktury a otevírat prostor nové imaginaci.
Zúčastněné autorstvo představí texty reflektující témata hněvu jako politické síly, genderové a sociální nerovnosti a tzv. pleasure activismu. Čtení proběhne v češtině, slovenštině a angličtině.

PUBLIC READING / The Rage of the Medusa

Galerie 35M2 invites you to the public reading The Rage of the Medusa, held in connection with the ongoing exhibition Echoes of the Medusa (until 25. 10.). The event draws on Hélène Cixous’s manifesto The Laugh of the Medusa, which articulates the urgent need for transformation through writing—conceiving it as an act capable of disrupting established structures and opening space for new imagination.
Participating artists and authors will present texts exploring themes of rage as a political force, gender and social inequality, and pleasure activism. The readings will take place in Czech, Slovak, and English.
