Lex Amor crafts music that lingers. It is intimate and unforced. Her work often feels suspended in quiet detail. Raised in North-East London, her sound draws from the rhythm of the city and the depth of her Nigerian heritage.

Her debut album 𝐺𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑇𝑟𝑜𝑝𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑛𝑎 (2020) moves between soft light and shadow. From the glow of 100 𝐴𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑙𝑠 to the grit of 𝑂𝑑𝑜𝑔𝑤𝑢, her measured, hushed delivery carries every track.
Much of her work begins in solitude. She records in home studios or small rooms where thought unfolds slowly. Friends sometimes join, but the tone remains hers. It stays reflective and precise, rooted in human experience. “Music is a canvas for these communications,” she’s said, “a place for me to reflect all that I am, and all that I need to be.”
Her follow-up, 𝐹𝑜𝑟𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝐸𝑣𝑒𝑟 (2024), deepens that introspection. It doesn’t only look back but moves deliberately through the present. Resilience shapes its path, as does the quiet force of intention.
Lex Amor is coming to Fuchs2 for the first time on Thursday, November 20.
