This is not a typical autumn class. Curious Botanicals is for anyone who loves the strange, magical, and sometimes dangerous side of nature — the plants that make you stop and think, “Wait… what are you?”
Lately I’ve been completely fascinated by these curious species. Some can heal, some can harm, and many carry incredible, funny, or weird stories from history, medicine, and folklore. Soooooo I decided to turn my little obsession with unusual plants and fungi into a cozy autumn painting class. Because why not?
In this class, we will explore all the little secrets hiding inside these unusual plants. We’ll look closely at forms, textures, and weird little details, and then turn them into our own symbolic, nature-inspired compositions. A mix of science, folklore, art history… and a lot of imagination — my favorite combination!
If you love art, nature, and all things mysterious, this class is for you!
