โ๏ธ Leah Barley โ๏ธ Vancouver, BC
Leah Barleyโs sharp-eyed, chiaroscuro approach to songwriting is on full display on her latest release Awkward & Heartbroken, (out Feb 2025) which showcases her talent for taking listeners on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. She offers stirring original songs that evoke both the jubilation and heartbreak inherent to classic folk and country music. An accomplished banjo player as well as guitarist, Barley creates a sound as affecting today as it was a century ago.

โ๏ธ Davis Steele of Current Collective โ๏ธqathet, BC
Davis is the singer and songwriter of the local roots rock band Current Collective. The band blends reggae, funk, folk, and rock into upbeat, west coast grooves that uplift the spirit and inspire collective movement. Davis will be performing with the bandโs trumpet player, Barrie McDonald.
โ๏ธ Ross Christopher Fairbairn โ๏ธ Vancouver, BC
A Richmond-based singer-songwriter blending alt-folk, indie, and roots music. His debut solo EP, Finally, At Last, is set for release in June 2025, followed by a one-month, coast-to-coast Canadian tour. An active performer since 2007, he has spent years on the road as a bassist (and sometimes half a drum-kit-ist at the same time) supporting other artists. This marks his first time stepping out under his own name. His songs fuse the raw energy of Green Day and Metallica with the narrative grit of Fred Eaglesmith, Danny Michel, and Tom Waits.
After paying the artists, this event is also intended to be a fundraiser for our lil fest. $25 at the door by cash or card.
Concession will be open! We'll be selling homemade baked goods and non-alcoholic beverages. ๐ช
