Agenda
• 07:00 - 07:30 arrive at the start/finish. Check your tires. Photos.
• 07:30 - all distances start
• 07:31 - 15:00 - ride your chosen distance
• 15:00 - Potluck BBQ

Route
• Start at the fire hydrant at the corner of Joyce Avenue and Richmond Street in Powell River, BC
• ride Sunshine Coast Hwy to the Mile 0 cairn in Lund (~30K). If you're not in a big hurry, stop in at Nancy's Bakery for a cinnamon bun
• retrace your route back to the start (~60K). Get some more fuel.
• ride Sunshine Coast Hwy to the ferry terminal at Saltery Bay (~90K)
• retrace your route back to the start. (~120K)

Notes
• Wheels. Road bike recommended, but any road-worthy bike is fine. Sure, use your eBike.
• Sag wagon. You're on your own, baby. Bring a patch kit for flats and some gels in case you bonk
• Not from Powell River? Bring your tent and spend the weekend!
• BBQ. 'Hope you can stick around for it. Bring something to drink and eat... ideally to share. Your hosts will have tube steaks and beer for everyone who is down as "Going" as of Thursday
• This event is not sponsored or sanctioned or anything else that would qualify it as an official event in the eyes of an official official
• If it's pouring on Saturday you can watch Tour de France highlights and pray for better weather. Rain date is Sunday
• qathet, which means "working together" in the language of the Tla'amin Nation, is the regional district of the upper Sunshine Coast. You're allowed to work together in a pace line... best to NOT ride side by side.
