Greetings friends,
For this workshop series we'll be exploring the archetype of Mercury through movement, image, relating and role-playing.
Facilitated by Adam F. Clarkson from www.augmentingastrology.com
For the astrodrama we'll enact the Sun and Mercury's transit through Gemini and into Cancer and the meetings with Jupiter. In terms of linear time this represents May 20-June 23.
The workshop dates are: May 31 (Powell River), June 10th (Salt Spring), June 11th (Victoria), June 12th (Cowichan).
Things you need to know for the workshop
This is an experimental, experiential, relational space where we can practice authentic expression without judgement.
You do not need to have any acting experience or particular astrology knowledge to participate. Experience in relational practices, constellation work or improv however, can be a nice asset.
There is no expectation or requirement to participate in any way that doesn't feel good. The drama will unfold with its own intelligence. You can't really do it wrong.
Although this form of group work has therapeutic value, it is not therapy, or about trying to fix, heal or change anyone or any situation.
Life is a mystery and miraculously, in spaces like this, the mystery can speak through us in movements, posture, words, images and realizations.
So many of the riches we seek, for our growth to our illumination, are already within us and within each other...waiting to be lived out and seen. A very Gemini Mercury sentiment :).
This is nourishing, playful work.
Mercury is a trickster and he illuminates through play and paradox.
Let's make good use of our innate genius by communing with the Gods together.

Astrological Background for Those Who are Curious
It seems fitting that we would follow-up last astrodrama's focus on Venus with a focus on Mercury--given their mutually critical, and interwoven, roles of these two in this year's astrology.
Fortune favours those who develop their inner Venusian and Mercurial aspects this year--could be an interpretation of the equinox chart for 2025--with both Mercury and Venus joined in the tunnel of the dragon, the space between eclipses, at the start of the astrological new year.
