It’s travelling to Carleton Cemetery & Crematorium FY6 7QS for the service at 15:30�
Unfortunately I’ve lost my Dad Frank almond.
He passed away on Sunday the 14th August in Blackpool Victoria hospital age 78.
My dad was a great bloke, great one liners, a dry sense of humour and a hard working man.
He was strong and fit.
Unfortunately in July 2001 he was involved in a serious collision.
He was on his pride and joy a Honda VFR800.
The police were pursuing a high powered Scorpio cosworth carrying 2 local well known criminals, my dad was in the wrong place at the wrong time and they hit him from behind at 90mph.
He shouldn’t have survived but he did a miracle.
He was hospitalised for 9 months.
At that point his riding days were over.
I’d appreciate any help personally and my dad would be with a group of bikers to escort him on his final journey.
He now rides free
