About the event

WWII: On the Local Home Front

Join the Schuylkill County Historical Society for a presentation about the local home front during World War II to mark the 80th anniversary of Japan’s surrender. Pottsville resident Dot Loy, who was a teenager during the war years, will share her experiences, and the public is invited to bring their memories and family stories about that period.
