Unraveling the Universe

Monthly gathering for education, pleasure and sharing of mystic, esoteric or mundane topics for the simple gift of sharing in conversation. All levels of conversation are welcome.
July Topic - Intro to Ayurveda with Robyn Neiderer - Ayurveda, a natural system of medicine originating in India more than 5,000 years ago. The focus is on the five elements of life: ether/space, air/wind, fire, water, and earth being components relating to our body’s physical and mental states. The concepts of “like increases like” and “opposites balance” guide us to live our lives with nature. Principles of Ayurveda focus on balance and harmony within body, mind, and spirit as true health of a human being. Nourishment in the form of food as medicine, meal timing, and awareness enhances your proper digestive processes within the body. Healthy absorption of essential nutrients, sensory perceptions and life experiences contribute to balanced well-being!

Come as a scholar, a person with a passion to know or teach or just come as you are.
