Sling & Sing - Festive Special!

**FESTIVE SPECIAL**

Bring your baby, your tiredness, your overwhelm, your joy, and let’s sing some carols and festive songs together! This is a chance to prioritise your wellbeing - your nervous system is the blueprint for your child’s. After some singing, we'll have time to enjoy some mince pies and doughnuts while chatting with other mums.

Christmas jumpers encouraged!

All voices and all babies welcome - slings, buggies, crawling, feeding, or snoozing.

We'll be in the Edmond Room, Little Heath Parish Hall. To access our car park, go to Thornton Road and turn left just after the Parish Hall.

Supporting Sebby's Corner..

Usually, Sling and Sing events are free, but for this special Christmas edition, I thought it would be lovely to give back and raise some money for a wonderful local charity — .

Sebby’s Corner is a wonderful Barnet-based charity that supports vulnerable families and children living in poverty across London and the South East. They support families facing crisis —escaping domestic abuse, seeking asylum, or living in poverty. When they turn to Sebby's, they’re often choosing between nappies and food, or wondering how they’ll clothe their children. During my maternity leave, I have had the chance to volunteer with them and have seen firsthand just how much of a difference they make, providing essentials and kindness to new mums and families who really need it.

Every penny raised from this event will go directly to Sebby’s Corner — a small gesture that can make a big impact this Christmas. 🎄❤️

A bit about me..

Hi, I’m Becky — mum to Theo (3) and baby Cora (5 months). We moved to Potters Bar about five years ago and absolutely love it here.

Music and singing have always been a big part of my life! I sing and play the violin and piano, and while studying music at uni I had great fun conducting choirs and groups.

Now, as a mum, I’ve realised how special it is to share music in a relaxed, friendly space — somewhere we can sing, laugh, and connect with other mums while our little ones enjoy the sounds too.

I can’t wait to meet you and your babies and share some lovely, musical moments together!
