Yoga for Recovery at Safe Harbor Recovery Center

Trauma informed yoga classes offered in collaboration with other agencies bringing tools to support growth and healing to individuals recovering from addiction, trauma and/or mental health conditions.

Anyone on their recovery journey is welcome. We are dedicated to providing you a safe environment and structured practice to support you on your path forward.

All classes are free to participants. No registration necessary.

This class brings together breath, movement, and structure in a way that helps those in recovery look inward to find union and healing. Rooted in Ashtanga yoga, this class is designed for anyone – at any level or experience with yoga and in any stage of recovery – to breathe, work up a sweat, build strength & flexibility, and start to calm their minds. Through weekly repetition of the postures, practitioners will notice how the benefits of a healthy routine can bring positive changes to their bodies & minds.
