The Wake of David Peter Buckingham at The Royal British Legion in Fratton

To all group members, ex colleagues and friends of Dave Buckingham.

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of David Peter Buckingham, ex merchant navy and ex tug operator who I'm sure many of you would have known and worked with.

He was a big character with a heart of gold, and we welcome anyone who would like to pay their respects to him.
There will be a short service at Portchester Crematorium 3pm on the 4th September, afterwards there will be a wake held from 5pm at The Royal British Legion in Fratton with refreshments available.

If anyone should like to come please feel free. There will be photographs with folks posing with Dave that we'd love to ID. I'm sure there will be lots of stories about the old boy so if anyone can help that would be lovely.
