Goumas ‘s playing has been described as “lovely, soulful and expressive with a “bell-like quality” and an expert understanding of when to “turn up the heat” or let the music speak for itself, as evidenced by his “ deep regard” for the music he plays and years of perseverance at his craft.

Thomas M. Palance is known for versatility as a trumpet player and as an innovative teacher. He retired from the U.S. Navy Band in Washington, D.C. after 20 years of holding the positions of assistant principal trumpet, and soloist with the Commodores Jazz Band. He presently resides in Massachusetts, where he is a performer, composer, conductor, and teacher. He has created collaborative artistic projects using animators, dancers, artists, photographers, and poets.
