Magic: the Gathering - Final Fantasy Prerelease

Join us for the Magic the Gathering: Final Fantasy Prerelease at Diversions Puzzles & Games – Portsmouth! We will be hosting two prerelease events:

To register, players must submit a seat reservation on Eventbrite. Seat reservations will have first priority for participation on the day of the event. Walk-ins will be processed on first come, first serve, after all pre-registrations have been processed. Player cap is 22 players.

Check-In begins one hour before the event starts. Entry is $39.99 and will be collected when you check-in at the store.

Prereleases are Sealed Deck format events, where you build a minimum 40-card deck using the contents of a Prerelease Pack (6 booster packs) and a Premium date-stamped promo card) plus basic lands that are provided to you by the store.

After your deck is built, you’ll be randomly paired with another player for a best-of-three match. Each round you’ll report who won and be paired up with a new player. You may use any of your remaining cards for a sideboard.

Each person may only purchase one pre-release pack for use during the event. No outside cards are permitted.

Prerelease events are casual events and we distribute an equal number of booster packs to all attendees for participating. The number of packs distributed depends on the number of players at the event.

Metered parking is available in the Worth Lot behind the store.
