We’re pleased to share an exciting opportunity to learn more about breast health and support in sport, brought to us by the internationally renowned Research Group in Breast Health at the University of Portsmouth.
They are currently running a research project exploring breast support during tennis movements — including serve, forehand, backhand, agility drills, and treadmill running — and are looking for local players to take part.
To introduce the project and share valuable insights, one of their expert researchers will be giving a free talk at CourtX on Tuesday, September 2nd at 18:00. This session will cover:
The impact of breast support on performance and comfort
How tennis-specific movements affect breast health
Criteria for participating in the research study
A chance to ask questions and learn from the experts
For those wishing to take part in the study you will need to measure a 34B or 36DD. Participants will receive £45 and 2 sports bras for taking part.
Even if you’re not interested in joining the study, this is a highly recommended talk — breast health is often overlooked in high-impact sports like tennis, and this is a great chance to learn more.
