The Garden Clubs of Portland Annual Plant Sale

The Portland Garden Club and the Portland River Valley Garden Club will hold their annual Plant Sale Sunday, May 18 in the parking lot at 265 Main St., next to the Town Green and Police Station. The sale will run from 10:30 a.m, to 12:30 p.m., or whenever all plants are sold.

There will not be a rain date this year.

Many of the plants will be perennials from the gardens of members of the two clubs, mostly all native! We may have some non-natives, but never invasive plants. There will also be an assortment of annuals, groundcovers, house plants, herbs and vegetable plants for sale.

The sale will also feature a variety of gently-used garden related items in our tag sale area.

We have so many knowledgeable gardeners, some of whom are UCONN Master Gardeners, so feel free to come to ask questions about plants, gardening, our club and the work we do for Portland!

Admission is free, with all proceeds benefiting the garden clubs’ projects in the community.

Cash, check or Venmo only! Please bring small bills.
