So97206 Reunion 7pm
Cahoots Final Show 8pm
SHOUTER!!! 9pm
Our 10 year musical odyssey has come to an end.
What began as a causual fireside jam quickly escalated to included friends and former bandmates from a bygone era.
The Spirit of 97206 was focused on community and bringing people together through music. The fellas country/western originals and covers blended well with standards from the early days of American music. So206 played numerous community events and many multi-generational, all-ages/family shows. All of this would culminate in a 2 year residency, every 4th Thursday of the month, at Misdemeanor Meadows.
Then, the pandemic ravaged the globe. Change was inevitable, and inovation became a necessity.
Cahoots formed and found a way to rehearse remotely. The focus now was on faster and louder original material. With the support of Linda and Jesse from Misdemeanor Meadows, Cahoots would play a series on-line only and Golden Ticket shows, broadcasting via the internet with a few lucky individuals in attendance. After Covid-19 had run its course and the world began to reopen, it was Cahoots turn for a residency at Meadows: The Last Friday (of every month)
Of course none of this would have been possible without the support of people like Linda and Jesse from Meadows, Ms Erin from Red Fox Vintage, photographers Roger Doe and Marie Winton, sound engineer Bill Cushman, Samantha from Milwaukie Arts Committee, DJ AM Gold, Portland Radio Project, Radio Hot Tub, Roots Local Music, Maggie, Ed and Cabana Fest, PJ and The Gladstone Pub, and Portland Sleestak.
And to all of the bands, musicians and entertainers we've shared the stage with, we appreciate you all and thank you for joining us on our journey.
But it was people like you that came to our shows night after night and spent your hard earned money to let us paint your time/space with our music for a few hours.
We are humbled to have been a part of the sound track of your life.
Now's your last chance to make it on out to Misemeanor Meadows as we know and love it. Your new favorite place is changing and may never be the same. Come by to say hello and goodbye, it's FREE.
