Portland’s love affair with jazz is being rekindled in iconic fashion as The Benson Hotel launches The Benson Jazz Revival — a free weekly event celebrating musical artistry and creative culture. This celebration brings smooth sounds, community connection, and cultural vibrancy back to the heart of downtown. To kick things off in style, The Benson will showcase top artists from the Rose City’s rich jazz scene at Downtown Portland Parkways on Sunday, September 14th.

“Our mission is to breathe new life into downtown through the power of jazz, hospitality, and community connection,” says Ryan Kunzer, Managing Director of The Benson Hotel. “The Benson Jazz Revival isn’t just about music — it’s about rebuilding and celebrating Portland’s diverse creative spirit.”

The Benson Jazz Revival starts Wednesday, September 17th from 5pm - 7pm. It's a free weekly event. Upcoming artists include Shirley Nanette, George Mitchell, Julianne Johnson, Andrew Oliver, Chris Brown, Kerry Politzer, Noah Simpson, and Lilla.
