Rodney Mashia & Michael Krapovicky @The Thirsty Pig- 8/10 2pm

Singer/songwriter/flautist Rodney Mashia has long called Biddeford home, but he grew up in an oil industry town in Louisiana, where church provided the backdrop to his first musical performances. Mashia's expressive guitar and flute playing, along with his heartfelt vocals, have a sonic purity that reaches the lofty heights of influences like Sam Cooke and Joni Mitchell.

Auburn singer/songwriter Michael Krapovicky is drawn to stories about long journeys down lonely highways, with a classic troubadour sound to back it up. The longtime host of the Monday night open mic at Fast Breaks in his hometown, Krapovicky has helped countless local musicians find their footing and take flight. He'll be playing songs from his most recent album, 2024's "Summer Thunder."
